Why is sleep such an issue for so many people?

Stress plays a big part in the struggle to get a good night of rest.  Long work hours, mental overload, lack of exercise, the pollutants in our environment and even issues with relationships all contribute to our stress overload.

Are There Answers Without Using Medications?

Sometimes simple changes in our environment can make a significant difference.  Creating a bedtime routine where we wind down our activities can help create a relaxed environment.  Limiting computer use, gentle stretching, a nighttime bath and even lavender oil have provided useful tools for many.

Could the Answer, however, Be Simply in a Glass of Water?

Well, if you are hydrated and especially if you are hydrated with the right kind of water, you might be delightfully surprised in how much better you may sleep at night.  When the body is dehydrated, it has to work harder on all fronts.  The body starts shutting down different areas as it prioritizes the drought environment it is trying to function in.  As the body tries to compensate, it has to work much worker because of the limited water supply.

As we become properly hydrated, the body can work at maximum efficiency and it can do it with much greater ease.  All of a sudden, the body isn’t having to work as hard which results in less stress.  Less stress allows for better relaxation which produces better sleep.

If the answer is really that simple, why haven’t more tried it?

Plat and drinkingThe answer to this question may come back to the quality of the water you are drinking.  When I use to drink good filtered water that was not properly ionized, it was a continual battle to get enough water in.  No matter what I did, it was a constant struggle to increase my water intake.  Telling myself to drink more water wasn’t enough to get the job done because I didn’t LIKE drinking water.

When I started drinking Kangen Water which is properly ionized water, one of the first things I noticed was how easy it was to drink water AND how I had a DESIRE to drink it.  As my water consumption increased, my body became more hydrated.  It wasn’t too long before I realized I no longer was reaching for the various sleep aids that I was constantly using before I was introduced to Kangen Water.  The sleep aids soon became history.

So, your answer for a good night’s rest may simply be in a good glass of water.  If you haven’t tried properly ionized water, I encourage you to try it today.
